The conference was held at the Drake Hilton Hotel in Chicago, IL, during September 2–5, 2000. President Howard Chung stated in KSEA Letters [6] that he had to face multitudes of challenges in planning this UKC conference. The program was shown in the Letters with no information on the contents of the conference or the responses from the attendees. Attendance was low due to the ongoing global financial crisis.
