Korean-American Scientists and Engineers
Association (KSEA) was founded on
December 11, 1971, at a meeting held at
Seorabol (서라벌) Korean Restaurant in the
Windsor Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.
There were 69 founding members, as
follows:
Maryland (13), New Jersey (11), New York (9),
Massachusetts (8), Pennsylvania (7), Virginia
(3), California (3), Delaware (3), Missouri (2),
North Carolina (1), Ohio (1), Minnesota (1),
Rhode Island (1), Texas (1), Wisconsin (1),
Washington, D.C. (1), Colorado (1), Oklahoma
(1), and Canada (1).
The 69 founding members attended the
inaugural meeting and one observer (Mr.
Hyung Ki Kim, Korea–MOST 조정관) also
attended the meeting.
